I visited Dr. Malik for an orbital floor fracture and right away she explained what she would need to do and scheduled me for surgery that same week! I had double vision and was worried I’d never see the same again. Mid surgery she noticed I perhaps may have another medical issue that needed to be assessed and took action right away. She repaired my fracture and 6 weeks in all is well! Not to mention my other medical issue that was addressed the same day as my surgery. She is kind, knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. Also the staff is quick checking in and wait times are not long at all. I highly recommend!

Mixed Experience at the Clinic
My recent visit to the clinic left me with mixed feelings. While there were some positive aspects to my experience, there were also several areas that left me feeling uneasy and somewhat dissatisfied.
Upon entering the reception area, I was promptly greeted with a warm smile and efficiently filled out the necessary paperwork. However, I couldn't help but feel a bit concerned about the level of personal information required publicly, such as date of birth and address. In an age where identity theft is a significant concern, it's crucial for all medical practices to prioritize patient privacy.
After the paperwork, I was directed to a comfortable purple waiting area, where I waited for about 10 minutes before being called in for state-of-the-art testing. My unease during the testing stemmed from my belief that testing equipment should be visibly cleaned in the patient's presence and fresh gloves. I did ask about this, and I was reassured that all equipment is cleaned after each patient, but the transparency in this regard could be improved.
Following the testing, I had to wait another 10 minutes to see Dr Malik. Dr Malik was friendly and promptly provided me with my diagnosis. However, this is where my major concern arose. Rather than taking the time to educate me about my diagnosis, share pamphlets on the disease, and discuss treatment options and prognosis, I felt rushed into one treatment option. There was no mention of potential adverse effects of the medication or alternative treatment approaches.
The experience left me feeling as though I was being pushed towards a particular medication without considering other options or fully informing me about the condition and its potential outcomes. I believe that Dr Malik should approach patient care with transparency, education, and a willingness to discuss all possible treatments.
In summary, while the clinic provided efficient service and a friendly atmosphere, there are significant areas for improvement in terms of patient education and transparency regarding treatment options. As a patient, I would appreciate a more comprehensive and informative discussion about my health and treatment choices in the future.

I have been extremely frustrated with your unresponsiveness regarding my medical treatment, and the incompetence of your staff in communicating with me. For the past 2 months. I was informed that you would be out for the month of June and want to reschedule my surgery for July 27. This is totally unacceptable given the severity of my issue and the possibility of blindness if not treated promptly.

These issues have caused me to question your professionalism and competence to treat my issue. My health is very important to me, but apparently not so much to you as my physician.

I do intend to make a formal complaint to my insurance company about the way I have been treated by you and your staff.

Dr Malik is an outstanding professional, focused in what is important to the patient and providing excellent results. She performed blepharoplasty because both of my eyelids covered enough part of the pupil, hindering vision. The results are above expectations. No pain and no issues before, during or after the procedure , my vision is better and it looks great too. Thank you Dr Malik and your team for your care. Patricia

Dr. Amina Malik is an angle sent to me by GOD, I had a procedure done on my left eyelid with another surgeon and the results were horrible, that DR. repeated the procedure 3 more times and each time was even worst then the last. I experienced the worst pain in my life during those procedures. My eye swelled so much that my family doctor said that I may loose it.

Then by chance I found DR. Malik who immediately operated on me, eliminated the swelling and restored my eyelid to the way it should have been.
She is professional, courteous and knowledgeable and has great experience.

I feel she treated me like a father not a patient, I highly recommend this angle Dr.

Absolutely waste of time and money. I saw her for an eye infection on oct, 2022. She saw me exactly for 2 mins and said no issues with my eyes. It was still swollen and in bad shape. Not even a ointment she prescribed. I accepted that part as she was the doctor .

Now i visited her in memorial harman , after the visit , receptionist told me nothing is due. I received no email/ text or call from them for my bill. After 6-7 months i got a debt collector notice stating i owe them 106 $! I initially thought its a scam but i called dr. Malik’s billing department and they rudely confirmed yes they did it!!! When i asked why i did not receive any calls/ text - they said they dont do that!!! I am absolutely disappointed and disgusted. I am in a honorable job and i even donate to non profit organizations for society improvements. It’s absolutely disgusting that i had to pay to a debt collector when there were no communication to me for the payment! That too for a service where literally no treatment was provider to me not even a prescription. Absolutely disappointed with horrible treatment and below standard rude unacceptable behavior by staff.

This review won’t be your typical “this Doctor is awesome” 5-star. We began our journey here, with her, weary. My husband has something going on, medically, that has devastated our family normalcy. Yes, I pick the word devastate. We have been ignored and “referred” to SO MANY physicians because “well, I’m not sure why this is happening”. That’s tough. Our second visit with Dr Malik I FINALLY spoke up and asked Dr Malik and her team to try. TRY HARDER. Dig DEEPER. Be the hero we have been begging for and need. Don’t send us away, again, or re-visit the failed treatments.
She did. She called my husband the next day. WHEN his phone rang from her call, at 6pm, I was sure I was getting us fired from her care. Nope. She had options, ideas, and questions. We are following up with her and also talking to some additional specialties. I’m almost 2 years- she chose to be the hero. She dug deeper and tried harder.
And that makes an MD and actual medical practitioner. That’s a physician.
So do we recommend her? Absolutely. 100%. Do I now trust her? Absolutely. 100%. If you need a plastics for your eye needs, there’s not another choice. It’s her.
