We just went hiking here rather than taking the tour and it was beautiful. There are multiple trails you can walk and you can hear the chimps but you can’t see them. There’s also a nice koi pond and an obstacle course after you walk the short blue trail from the parking area. I would love to come back and do a tour so we can see the chimps.

Amazing experience, some of the best interactions I’ve ever had with wildlife. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and shoutout to the wonder Mrs. Janice for giving an amazing tour!

I love reading all the comments and what you have done with the chimps I can't wait to visit to see your beautiful primates.
Have you ever watched monkey world or monkey life it's on YouTube.
The new show called monkey life is also saving other primates that have been rescued from labs or monkeys that people didn't know how to care for them properly.
Do you think one day you might be helping any other primates besides the chimps? See you all soon.

Excellent tour and interacted with lots of different chimps. Highly recommend. Debbie was a sincere advocate for the chimpanzees and was a wonderful tour guide.

I did not know this place existed! Fabulous hiking trails… marked well and hearing the chimps down in the valley was unique! What a nice place for the animals that were experimented on, but now retired… love this place!!!

Enjoyed a visit to Project Chimps last year. It was great to see them enjoying the outdoors in the peach tree habitat. As a sponsor of one of the chimps I received a stuffed chimp and she goes with me wherever I go on my motorcycle. Keep up the good work!

I am a repeat vendor at Project Chimps Discovery Days. The management is very easy to work with and the volunteers and donors have been super supportive of my small business. An added bonus during my last visit was participating in the vendor tour after the event was over. A volunteer took us around to see the facility and talked about the care of the chimps and the vision that the sanctuary has to continue making improvements to meet the needs of all the former research chimps they are rescuing. I felt very impressed. Each time I go there are noticeable expansions and improvements. You can really tell it is run by people who are very passionate and knowledgeable about chimp welfare.
